Why OEM parts matter on LG
LG direct-drive washers depend on the rotor position sensor talking correctly to the inverter board. A cheap sensor with slightly different output produces intermittent LE errors that come and go for weeks — the machine works, then does not, and nothing looks broken. Factory sensors avoid that entirely.

My LG fridge stopped cooling. Is the compressor covered by warranty?
Quite possibly. LG extended coverage on linear compressors for many models, and if yours qualifies the honest answer is to go through LG rather than pay us. We check the model and serial before quoting anything — we would rather lose the job than charge you for something the manufacturer owes you.
What does the LE code on my LG washer mean?
The motor is locked or overloaded. Try a smaller load first, because an overloaded drum triggers it legitimately. If it returns on normal loads, the rotor position sensor is the usual culprit on direct-drive machines — an inexpensive part that fails far more often than the motor it is blamed for.
Why does my LG dryer run but not dry?
On conventional models, a blocked vent nine times out of ten. On heat-pump models it is different: slower drying is normal by design, and genuine faults are usually the condenser or the drain system. Which one you have changes the diagnosis completely.
Are LG parts easy to get in Toronto?
Yes for mainstream components — pumps, valves, sensors, door locks and heaters are all readily available here. Model-specific boards can take a day or two, and the return visit carries no second service call.
