We install washers and dryers across Toronto and the GTA for a flat $250 plus HST — side by side or stacked, any brand. That covers the stacking kit, hoses, levelling and a test cycle run before we leave, which is where most installation problems would otherwise show up a week later.

What the spot needs to have

Five minutes of checking now saves a rescheduled visit later.

PowerA grounded outlet for the washer, and a 240V outlet for an electric dryer. Extension cords are not an option on either.
WaterHot and cold shut-off valves that actually close. Valves seized open are common in older houses, and they have to be dealt with before a machine can be connected safely.
DrainA standpipe of the correct height, or a laundry tub. Too low and the machine siphons; too high and the pump struggles.
VentingFor a conventional dryer, a clear duct to the outside. We check the run before connecting — a blocked duct turns a new dryer into a slow one immediately.

Three mistakes we get called out to fix

  • Leaving the shipping bolts in a front-load washer

The drum is locked to the frame, so the first spin cycle transmits everything into the chassis. It is loud, alarming, and it damages the suspension. We remove them and hand them to you for the next move.

  • Reusing old rubber fill hoses

Rubber hoses perish from the inside and let go without warning, usually while nobody is home. A burst fill hose delivers water continuously at mains pressure — it is one of the most common household flood claims there is.

  • Pushing the dryer flat against the wall

The vent duct crushes behind the machine, airflow collapses and drying times double. People then blame the dryer for a fault that was created at installation.

Washer & Dryer Installation questions

Can you stack my washer and dryer?

Yes, with the correct stacking kit for that pair — the kit is brand and model specific, and stacking without one is genuinely unsafe. If you do not have it, tell us the model numbers when you book and we will confirm which kit you need.

Do new hoses come with the installation?

New fill hoses are part of what we fit rather than an upsell at the door. Confirm when booking so there are no surprises either way — reusing hoses that are already five years old is a false economy we would rather not participate in.

My laundry is in a tight basement corner. Can you still install there?

Usually yes, and it describes a good share of the houses we work in. Send a photo of the space when you book if you are unsure. Tight access adds time, not cost — the rate stays a flat $250 plus HST.

Will you test the machine before leaving?

Always. A short fill, drain and spin on the washer, and a heat check on the dryer. Most installation faults show up in that first cycle, and finding them while we are still standing there is the entire point.
