The fault shows up months later as walking, siphoning or a puddle, and it reads as a broken appliance rather than the shortcut it was.

What should be ready before you arrive at a Square One suite?

A photo of the model and serial sticker, the closet doorway clear, and about a metre of hallway floor to work in — a stacked pair has to come forward for anything at the back.
