Viking Appliance Repair in Toronto & the GTA

We repair Viking ranges, wall ovens, refrigerators and dishwashers across Toronto and the GTA. These are heavily built appliances where the chassis reliably outlasts the electronics, so most of what we replace is sensors, gaskets and fan motors rather than anything structural. Service call $120 plus HST, 60-day parts and labour warranty.

— What we see most

Common Viking problems

Viking builds heavy — the chassis outlives the electronics. Sensors, gaskets and fan motors are usually what we replace, and factory-spec parts matter on units this well built.

  • 01

Oven temperature sensor drifting, bakes hot or cold

  • 02

Door gaskets worn, heat escaping around the frame

  • 03

    Convection fan noisy under load

  • 04

Oven light and control panel intermittent

Why OEM parts matter on Viking

Viking oven sensors and thermostats are matched to the control system, and a generic probe with slightly different resistance characteristics will hold temperature — just not at the temperature the display claims. On a range built for precision cooking, that defeats the point of owning it.

  • Factory parts on anything touching the control or sealed system
  • We tell you when an aftermarket part is genuinely fine and cheaper
  • Part numbers go on your invoice, so the next technician is not guessing

What affects the repair price

  • The part itself — a door switch and a sealed-system component are different worlds.
  • Age and brand — luxury built-ins need factory-spec parts, and those cost more.
  • Access — a stacked unit in a condo closet takes longer to reach than a free-standing machine.

We do not publish repair price ranges. Senior Discount — $50 applies on top of the quoted job, and there are no trip surcharges or weekend premiums.

Viking repair questions

My Viking oven runs hot. Can it be calibrated?

Yes. We log a full heating cycle with an independent probe first, because a single reading tells you nothing about how an oven behaves across a cycle. If the drift is consistent, calibration solves it; if it wanders, the sensor is the culprit.

Is the convection fan noise on my Viking normal?

A steady hum is. A rising whine or a rattle that changes with fan speed is a bearing on its way out, and replacing the motor before it seizes avoids taking the fan blade and housing with it.

Are parts still available for older Viking appliances?

For most models, yes — these units have long service lives and the parts channel reflects that. We confirm availability before quoting rather than after, so you are not left waiting on an order that will never arrive.

My Viking door gasket looks fine but heat escapes. Is that possible?

Very. Gaskets harden long before they look damaged, so they stop compressing while appearing perfectly intact. The paper test around the whole door tells you more than a visual check ever will.
