Kenmore Appliance Repair in Toronto & the GTA
Kenmore is a badge, not a factory — the first three digits of your model number tell us who actually built the machine. We repair the washers, electric dryers, fridges, dishwashers and electric ranges wearing that badge across Toronto and the GTA, ordering parts against the true manufacturer number. Service call $120 plus HST, 60-day parts and labour warranty.

Common Kenmore problems
Sears Canada is gone, so there is no dealer to call. We order Kenmore parts under the original manufacturer's number, which is why the model prefix matters.
- 01
Elite Oasis top-loaders rumbling on spin as the tub bearing wears out
- 02
LG-built 795-series refrigerators warming while the sealed-system compressor stops pumping
- 03
110-series electric dryers squealing from worn drum rollers and a tired idler pulley
- 04
665-series dishwashers cleaning poorly once the wash-arm diverter motor fails

Why OEM parts matter on Kenmore
There is no such thing as a Kenmore part. Every component is a Whirlpool, LG, Frigidaire or GE part sold under a Sears number, so diagnosis starts with the model prefix — order against the badge and you get a housing that will not sit square.
- Factory parts on anything touching the control or sealed system
- We tell you when an aftermarket part is genuinely fine and cheaper
- Part numbers go on your invoice, so the next technician is not guessing
— Pricing
Simple, honest pricing
- Service call & diagnostic$120 + HST
- Written quote on-siteBefore any work
- Senior discount$50 off
What affects the repair price
- The part itself — a door switch and a sealed-system component are different worlds.
- Age and brand — luxury built-ins need factory-spec parts, and those cost more.
- Access — a stacked unit in a condo closet takes longer to reach than a free-standing machine.
Kenmore repair questions
Who actually makes Kenmore appliances?
Several manufacturers, and your model number says which. The first three digits are the maker's code: 110 and 106 are Whirlpool, 795 and 796 are LG, 253 is Frigidaire, 363 is GE. That prefix is the first thing we ask for on the phone, because it decides which parts we bring and which service manual applies.
Sears is gone. Can my Kenmore still be repaired?
Yes, and parts are less of a problem than people expect. Sears Canada closed in 2018, so there is no dealer network left, but the machines were built by outside manufacturers: Whirlpool, LG, Frigidaire, GE and a few others, and those components are still sold under their own numbers. We cross-reference from your model and serial tag, then order from the maker.
My Kenmore Elite fridge is warm but I can hear it running. Is it worth fixing?
It depends on the prefix. On LG-built 795-series Elites, a fridge that hums along while the temperature climbs usually means the sealed-system compressor has stopped pumping — a major repair, and on an older unit we will tell you plainly when replacement is the better call. On Whirlpool-built 106 models the same symptom is far more often the evaporator fan or a defrost fault, which is a modest job.
Where do I find the model number on a Kenmore?
On the data tag, and the location depends on the appliance. Washers and dryers: inside the lid or behind the door on the frame. Refrigerators: on the wall inside, usually near the crisper or along the upper left side. Dishwashers: on the tub edge when the door is open. Send us that full number and we arrive with the right parts.
