- Service call & diagnostic$120 + HST
- Written quote on-siteBefore any work
- Senior discount$50 off
What affects the repair price
- The part itself — a door switch and a sealed-system component are different worlds.
- Age and brand — luxury built-ins need factory-spec parts, and those cost more.
- Access — a stacked unit in a condo closet takes longer to reach than a free-standing machine.
How you can pay
- Cash
- Credit card
- Debit
- e-Transfer
Payment is due after the work is finished and tested — not before, and not as a deposit to book. You get an itemised invoice showing parts, labour and the job number that carries your warranty.
$50 off
−$50
Mention it when you book so it is on the work order before the quote is written. It applies to the repair, on top of a price that already has no trip charge, no weekend premium and no hidden extras.
What will not appear on your invoice
- No trip surcharge, wherever you are in the GTA
- No weekend or evening premium
- No "shop supplies" line on the invoice
- No charge for removing a fridge door to clear a narrow hallway
- If a second part turns out to be needed, we stop and re-quote before continuing
One number, agreed before we start.
Pricing questions
When do I pay?
After the work is done, once the appliance has been tested and you have seen it working. You get an itemised invoice with the job number on it — keep that number, because it is what activates your warranty if you ever need a return visit.
How does the senior discount work?
It is $50 off. Mention it when you book so it is on the work order before the quote is written, rather than being asked for at the door. If you forget, tell the technician before they start.
Why is there a service call fee at all?
Because a proper diagnosis takes time and expertise, and pretending otherwise means loading the cost into inflated repair prices instead. The $120 plus HST covers the visit and a full diagnosis, and you get a written quote before any repair begins.
What if I decline the repair after the diagnosis?
Then you pay the service call and nothing else. You keep the diagnosis, including what failed and what it would take to fix — take it to another company if you want a second opinion. There is no pressure and no penalty.
Do you charge more for luxury or built-in appliances?
The service call is the same $120 plus HST for every appliance and every brand. Factory-spec parts cost more and built-in work takes longer, and both appear in the written quote you approve — not as a surcharge tacked on afterwards.
Is the installation rate really flat?
Yes — $250 plus HST for any residential appliance installation, regardless of the appliance or the day of the week.
